Dave Hamlyn has decided to run from Richmond in Surrey to Richmond in North Yorkshire and back but not using roads; using the upperdeck of his ship whilst deployed to the Gulf. All this in aid of HMS Richmond's charity; Help for heroes.

- It's not about me; it's about sponsorship! Go to the Help for Heroes website, downloads section and download sponsorship form 1. Print it out, complete the form with all your details (not forgetting to pledge lots of cash) and then forward it to me. When I've finished the run, I'll come knocking on your door for the money (or alternatively you could send it to me). If you want to cajole lots of your friends into sponsoring me, download sponsorship form 2 and once full send it on to me.
